You can store vulnerable products and assets temporarily in watertight containers when there is a flood threat. This prevents flood damage to these products and assets.

  • Applicable to products and goods, infrastructure and equipment;
  • Spatial adaptation and crisis management;
  • Temporary measure;
  • Small investment;
  • Prevents economic damage;
  • Applicable at flood depth up to approx. 100 cm.
Watertight storage of products and assets

Standard containers can be made watertight. You can also use watertight units to protect assets. Make sure joints are sealed so that they are watertight. You can also store products and assets at higher locations.
