Curious about how we run an international port? How we make the port of Rotterdam a little better, cleaner, smarter and more beautiful every day? Participate in our in-house day on February the 29th, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM! This in-house day is exclusively for passionate students like you who want to make an impact. During our interactive in-house day, you will meet professionals who will take you into the world of Port of Rotterdam.
What does the day look like?
We invite you to our World Port Center located on the Wilhelminakade in Rotterdam (with a beautiful view over the city!). Our CFO Vivienne de Leeuw will give you a warm welcome and kick off the day.
Pitches are being held by professionals from our company. These are about various themes within the Port Authority such as shore power, energy transition, port development, environmental management and more!
Together we will discuss the “Case Port Development”. In this module, Port Development colleagues will introduce you to some of the Port Authority’s key processes. Groups will then focus on reviewing and presenting a case study.
We close with a (non-alcoholic) drink and our trainees will tell you more about our traineeship programme at Port of Rotterdam, starting from September 2024. During the drinks you are able to network with all the participants and professionals of the company who contributed to the in-house day.

This in-house day will give you insights into the Port of Rotterdam, the internships, traineeships or jobs that we offer with which you can help build the port of the future. You will come into contact with professionals from our company and discover many career options.
Are you in your last or penultimate year of your HBO/WO study? Register before the 1st of February 2024. We will make a selection based on the registrations. Don’t miss this unique opportunity and we look forward to seeing you soon!
